Training

Warm ups and stretching are major parts of preparing for sport and preventing injuries, prevention is better than cure.

 

Warm ups and stretching are designed to increase athletes body’s mobility through active and dynamic movements, so that muscles can stretch the distance they need during sport.

 

It is important for a warm up and stretching to include sport specific activities, where athletes perform movements that will be use in a game or training.

 

While preparing the body physically, warm ups and stretching can also prepare the mind for the activity and all an athlete to be mentally switched on before training begins.
